Ready for a green and flowery hiking adventure? Join us for a vigorous 7-8 mile hike up Hinkle Branch on Holston Mountain. We’ll journey through a variety of forest habitats, past scenic overlooks and diverse mountain wildflower populations.
It’s uphill all the way to Low Gap, and downhill all the way back! Be prepared for some steep and rocky trails and a few shallow creek crossings. Come dressed for the weather, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and bring food and water.
We’ll meet at Warriors’ Path pool parking lot, departing PROMPTLY at 8:30 AM to carpool to the trailhead. It’s about a one hour drive to the start of our hike.
Note that you MUST preregister (and pay registration fees) in order to participate.
