Wednesday, June 13th
9:30 am: Nature Hike- Join Jared for an interactive nature hike covering the trail and surrounding areas of Sycamore Shoals. Meet at the bottom of the ramp behind the visitor center.
11:00 am: Carter Mansion Tour- Built by Watauga settlement leaders, John and Landon Carter in 1780, a tour of Tennessee’s oldest frame home is a must! Adults – $7.00 (cash only please); 7-17 years old – $3.00 and those 6 and under are free.
2:00 pm: Sabine Hill House Tour– Accompany Stuart on a tour of the famous Taylor family’s recently restored, 19th century home! Adults- $7.00 (cash only please); 7-17 years old – $3.00 and those 6 and under are free.
Thursday, June 14th
9:00 am: Tomahawk Throwing- Find Jared at Fort Watauga and learn how the Tomahawk was used in the lives of settlers and Native Americans alike.

Friday, June 15th
10:00 am: Carter County’s American Civil War Experience: Meet a Union soldier stationed in Carter County in 1864 and hear about how the Civil War affected this area. Also see what a typical Civil War soldier would have in his haversack in order to withstand army life. Meet inside of Fort Watauga.

12:30 pm: Daniel Boone– Meet Jared at the Carter Mansion to learn about the life, travels, and equipment of Daniel Boone as he made his way through the frontier wilderness.

10:30 am: Games and Diversions- Join Stuart inside of Fort Watauga and try your hand at 18th century children’s games. Fun for all ages!
