History Happy Hour
History Happy Hour, the Chester Inn Museum’s new monthly program for 2017, is off to a strong start! This month’s History Happy Hour features researcher Andrea Nott as she discusses the slave narratives of Rachel Kennedy and Viney Gahagan Brown as well as the community of New Hope which they helped build in Greeneville, TN. Andrea has done independent research with the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site on various topics, including slavery. The program will be on Thursday, May 25th at 6:30 pm at the Chester Inn State Historic Site and Museum in Jonesborough. It is free and open to the public.
