Jonesborough’s Boone Street Market Hosting Grand Re-Opening Saturday, April 13th

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. – April 8, 2019 – Jonesborough Locally Grown is excited to announce a special event on Saturday, April 13^th to celebrate the opening of the expanded Boone Street Market in downtown Jonesborough.

While the market re-opened in March, the renovations have been finalized and the café is in full swing offering local meals to-go and for dine-in customers. Boone Street Market will celebrate this and thank both their donors and community who’ve supported the expansion with this grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We’ve been waiting for our store to be back in full swing before planning a grand re-opening,” says Jonesborough Locally Grown Executive Director, Shelley Crowe. “We’ve hired a new chef, rearranged the store to feature new and more products from local producers and created a friendly space for guests to enjoy our kitchen’s offerings. We are excited to show it off to all who have supported these big changes at Boone Street Market”.

The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 9:45am, and Boone Street Market will open for the day at 10:00am with normal hours until 5:00pm. Chef Neal Smith will have a special brunch menu available for dine-in customers, along with other fresh to-go options that utilize local ingredients provided by our vendors. In addition to this, the store will be offering various food samples throughout the day and Jonesborough Locally Grown members will enjoy 10% off their entire purchase.

Boone Street Market, located at 101 Boone Street in downtown Jonesborough, is a 100% producer only market, carrying food produced within 100 miles of Jonesborough (priority), Tennessee and Central Appalachia. The market café offers dine-in and to-go meals made in-house with local ingredients.
