Jonesborough’s Lighting of the Tree
The Town of Jonesborough is excited to host the Lighting of the Tree ceremony on Saturday, November 26 at 6 p.m. next to the Washington County Courthouse.
Jonesborough’s downtown is the perfect setting to kick off the Christmas holiday season as the lights are lit on the authentic Fraser Fir tree.
Bring friends and neighbors and enjoy the sounds of the season sung by David Crockett High School’s Madrigal Singers, the voices of elementary school students from Jonesborough Elementary and Grandview Schools and a special performance from Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. A Christmas story will be told by local artist Jules Corriere.
