This hike is near Laurel Bloomery in Johnson County and ends at the head of Gentry Creek where two beautiful waterfalls flow, each about 30 to 40 feet high. We will hike through a wild-flower filled rocky vale bordered by high ridges in the Cherokee National Forest. There are 17 creek crossings without adequate stepping stones so plan on getting wet feet. Leader: Ken Rea, (423) 737-3882. Depart Elizabethton High School, 1:15 p.m.
