New Infrastructure and Guest Amenities
For the 2026 season, the farm is converting a portion of its original barn into a comprehensive welcome pavilion. Scheduled for completion by opening day on June 4, the pavilion will serve as a centralized check-in point, a briefing area for group tours, and provide additional shelter during inclement weather. dedicated weather shelter for guests. Also, new signage has been added at the entrance of the farm to welcome guests.

These projects follow several successful 2025 additions, including an indoor gift shop located within the farm’s cabin and an expanded parking area. The gift shop will feature an increased inventory this year, adding products from up to three new local artisans to its existing selection of handmade lavender and flaxseed neck wraps, eye pillows, local honey, and lavender shortbread cookies.
Expanded 2026 Schedule
In response to high demand for spring planting and group outings, Midfield Farm will introduce a sneak peak at the farm for a Pre-Season in May. During this time, the gift shop and greenhouse will be open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No tickets or reservations are required for May weekday visits.
The official 2026 Lavender U-Pick Season will run from June 4 through June 28.

Agricultural and Nature Experiences
Midfield Farm is currently home to 1,300 lavender plants across nine varieties. Building on the popularity of the wildflower trail introduced last year, the Millers will implement a rotational mowing schedule this season. By mowing a new section of the trail each week, the farm ensures guests have easy access to fresh wildflowers for photography and harvesting without navigating high grass.

Tickets for the U-Pick season are available now at midfieldfarm.com for $10 per person (children 12 and under are free). Admission includes a sachet or a glass of the farm’s signature lavender lemonade. Fresh lavender bundles may be harvested for $5 each.
