Moonrise and Moonpies

Come watch the full moon rise above the high forested ridges! February’s full moon is called the “Full Snow Moon.” Whether or not it snows, we’ll enjoy a fine 2 mile hike through the gathering dusk, and then “toast” the rising moon with a Moon Pie. We’ll supply the snacks, you supply the moonlit enthusiasm!
Be sure to come dressed for the weather, and wear good hiking boots. (It’s a mostly uphill hike to the view, with a few steep and rocky places.) Also be sure to bring a flashlight for the walk back down..
Meet at the (former) stables parking area.
