Moonrise over Sinking Waters

Come watch the full moon rise above the high ridges at Sinking Waters! February’s full moon is called the “Full Snow Moon.” Whether or not it snows, we’ll enjoy a fine hike through the gathering dusk, and then “toast” the rising moon with a Moon Pie. We’ll supply the snacks, you supply the moonlit enthusiasm!

Be sure to come dressed for the weather, and wear good hiking boots. (It’s a mostly uphill hike to the view.) Also be sure to bring a flashlight.

We’ll meet at the pool parking lot, and carpool to the start of the trail.
