In conjunction with the "TN Serves" initiative and in celebration of National Public Lands Day, join us for a Mulching
Workday as we work to stabilize the slope behind the amphitheater. Mulching will help prevent erosion and support the
health of the surrounding vegetation. Volunteers will be spreading mulch over the designated area to create a protective
layer that minimizes soil displacement and enhances the natural beauty of the park. This is a great opportunity to
contribute to the preservation of our park's landscape while enjoying the outdoors and connecting with fellow community
members. Meet at the amphitheater behind Fort Watauga at 9:00 am for instructions. Bring gloves, a shovel or pitchfork,
and a full water bottle. Please wear sturdy shoes and be ready to make a positive impact!
