Rocky Mount State Historic Site: Gardening Fun Day

It’s Almost Time for Gardening Fun Day at Rocky Mount!
Happening this Saturday from 10am – 4pm.
Join with professional gardeners for a fun-filled day from 10 am to 4 pm! Participate in a variety of workshops and lectures, such as Earl Hokin’s 3-Season Vegetable Gardening Workshop, tour the gardens of Rocky Mount, get to know the gardeners, and learn about the historic home with all-day site tours. Make sure and visit our website for the full schedule of events for the day!
Use your imagination with our kid-friendly activities, like the Rubbing Against History Tour for young friends and gardeners and the birdhouse-building activities. Additionally, kids can take part in the Kids Scavenger Hunt or our Flower Pot Painting, Designing, and Planting workshop. Come join us because it’s going to be a fantastic day!
