Star-Spangled Independence Day Celebration

Believe in Bristol is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Star-Spangled Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 4, 2024. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring a wide array of family-friendly activities, live music, and another dazzling fireworks display to close out the evening’s festivities.

The event will kick off with a patriotic parade, taking place on Bristol’s iconic State Street at 5:00 PM. Registration is now open for parade participants. Pre-registration is required this year and the fee is $10 per vehicle, with veteran vehicles free of charge with pre-registration. 

Following the parade, Anderson Park (341 Martin Luther King Boulevard) will transform into a hub of entertainment. Families will be able to enjoy a fantastic assortment of kids’ activities, carnival-style games, and free inflatables. Food and beverage enthusiasts will have a wide variety of food trucks to choose from and a refreshing beer garden to patronize throughout the evening. 

A veteran appreciation ceremony will take place at 6:30 PM, followed by a few fun and patriotic  on-stage games for some lucky members of the crowd. The Border Bash concert series will take center stage at 7:00 PM, featuring two incredible bands. Bristol Lightning and SCYTHIAN will perform, serving up foot-stomping folk tunes and high-energy rock anthems for attendees to enjoy and dance the night away.

As darkness falls, the Star-Spangled Independence Day Celebration will come to a close with a fireworks display at approximately 10:00 PM.
