The world famous Trek Bicycle Taco Trek is BACK!!! Can you believe it’s been 5 years of tacoy bike bliss in Downtown Johnson City?!
What is the Taco Trek you ask? How about a 30 minute causal paced (we mean it, if you own a bike, you’re qualified), costume encouraged*, music filled, family friendly, pet’s in baskets, party on bikes group ride that leaves from Trek at 7:00PM sharp on the first Tuesday each month (April-October).

The Johnson City POLICE are on hand to make sure the route is safe and bike friendly before the ride ends at Holy Taco and Cantina (just a block from Trek) with a free pint for those 21+ and free soda for the wee-ones. Plan on grubbing on tacos and celebrating bikes with a few hundred of your closest friends after the ride!

The Taco Trek draws huge crowds of riders of all ages, so please plan accordingly for the FREE registration which, for your convenience, starts as early as 5:00PM. Helmets ARE required and front/rear lights and locks are recommended for the after party and your ride home. Plenty of parking is available throughout downtown JC, or bonus points for riding your bike!

*Do you need to dress in costume to ride? Nope, but it sure makes it FUN! Get creative with yourself, your bike, your dog, and your kids…just be sure your festiveness is bike and family friendly (long capes and restrictive views + bikes = yikes).
