Tennessee Throwdown

After a successful year 1, the Tennessee Throwdown is back. This year’s contest will be held Saturday, October 5th at 9 am in Winged Deer Park. The Throwdown tests your skills with a fly rod in hand, with multiple accuracy stations and the highly anticipated long cast. Participants receive a score at each station and the top score will be crowned champion. Come out to see who is all talk and who really brings their A-game.
The contest is limited to 15 participants and you must be 17 years old or older to take part. Entry fee is $5 and can be paid the day-off. You must bring your own 8.5′ – 9′ 5 wt rod with standard WF5 fly line. You will receive a leader and yarn fly to use during the accuracy portion of the competition. All participants and spectators will be treated to lunch prior to the awards ceremony.
