Three poets are on a mission to change the face of spoken word poetry. Their blend of hip-hop, theater, improvisation and stand-up comedy creates an energetic platform to address gut-wrenching truths and personal experiences. Armed with original and witty lyrics, The Mayhem Poets have traveled to Lincoln Center, the Apollo Theatre, hundreds of universities, local schools and other venues to treat audiences to the world of slam poetry.
