Warriors Path State Park: Weekend Activities
Welcome to Warriors’ Path State Park! We hope you will enjoy your visit. While you are
with us, we invite you to take advantage of the rich natural beauty and wealth of
opportunities for enjoyable outdoor recreation here at YOUR State Park.
Friday, September 11
Learn to read the tracks and other
signs of our native wildlife. Meet Open Air
Chapel, or at the main bath house if it is raining.
It’s a different world out there at night! Come
discover the peace and excitment of night in the
back country. Bring a flashlight, wear good
walking shoes, and drive to the camp store. We’ll
caravan to the start of the trail. (Please preregister
Saturday, September 12
Today is the Roan Mountain State Park Naturalist
Rally. No hikes scheduled here at Warriors’ Path, but
please join us “up on the mountain” for several great
hikes! (Preregistration required)
Sunday, September 13
Enjoy a peaceful morning worship service at the Open Air
Chapel, or at the pool entrance if it is raining. Sponsored by
Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
