Welcome to Warriors’ Path State Park! We
hope you will enjoy your visit! While you are
with us, we invite you to take advantage of the
rich natural beauty and wealth of opportunities
for enjoyable recreation here at the park.

NOTE: All activities meet in and near the park’s Main Campground, unless otherwise specified.

TUESDAY, JUNE 12

10:00 AM “FUZZ, PRICKLES & BUMPS” – Let’s use our sense of TOUCH to
explore the forest. Meet at the camp store to begin a “touch & feel” hike
3:00 PM PINCHING PENNIES – Come one come all, can you beat the highscore
in this “chilling” game? Meet at the main bath house test your
strength of will.
5:00 PM BLIND WALK – Let’s leave our eyes behind and “see” what our ears
and hands can tell us. Meet at the campfire circle, east end of the
campground for a different “look” at the park.
7:00 PM BIRDS OF PREY – Meet some real live feathered hunters. Come to the
Open Air Chapel and see “whooo…” is waiting for you. If it is raining,
meet at the main bath house.
9:00 PM LAMP-LIT NIGHT HIKE – Take a “de-light-full” hike through the
creekside forest. We’ll light up the trail with old-timey kerosene
lanterns, and discover a “new world” of life after dark. We’ll supply the
lanterns, but children should bring flashlights instead for safety. Drive
to the camp store and we’ll carpool out to the park back country.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13
8:30 AM BREAKFAST WITH THE BIRDS – Come wake up to our feathered
neighbors. Meet at the main bath house to begin a stroll through bird
country! (The first 12 people to come get free doughnut & juice!)
10:30 AM LAKE SHORE TRASH BASH- Make our park a cleaner, healthier
environment! You’ll make a big difference for our earth, and for each of
us who lives on the earth. Meet at the main bath house. Be prepared to
get dirty!
1:30 PM LIVING DOWNSTREAM – We are all downstream of the earth’s
resources. Enjoy a short walk to see the connections. Meet at the
benches behind the OVERFLOW CAMPGROUND Bath house.
4:00 PM SEED RACES – Wind, water, and animals carry seeds of new trees and
plants all across the land. Our “wind” can help too! Meet at the Open Air
Chapel to show off your “hot air” and plant some new life. Meet at the
main bath house if it rains.
WEDNESDAY, CONTINUED
7:00 PM SCENIC WALK – We can’t take the park home with us, but we can preserve
some special scenes with our cameras. Come “snap” some memories of YOUR
state park. Meet at the Open Air Chapel (or main bath house if it’s raining).
9:00 PM NIGHT VISION – Come find out who has great night vision and we’ll even test
out our own. Meet at the Open Air Chapel (or if pool entrance if it’s raining)

the Open Air Chapel to create some “beautiful music.” In case of rain, meet at
the main bath house.

whose. Meet at the Open Air Chapel for a short slide show of the creatures who
“talk” in the night! (At the pool entrance if it is raining.)

walk will show you how to truly unplug! Meet at the camp store.

birds! You can get a much closer look if you offer them the right kind of snack.
