Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment and SOLO Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the perfect course to help prepare those who work and play in the outdoors. Offered in partnership with SOLO, WFR is nine days long (72+ hours) and is a comprehensive and in-depth look at the standards and skills dealing with medical care in the backcountry or anytime help is not close at hand.
