Wilderness Survival- 1 Day

Despite our best efforts we may find ourselves lost or injured in the backcountry where help or rescue is not immediately available. This fun one-day course familiarizes participants with many of the essential concepts of wilderness survival that will help you stack the odds in your favor including attitude, shelter, firecraft, craftmanship, water purification, knot tying, off-trail navigation and rescue signaling. Held at our rustic camp on Survival Island, participants use a handline to cross the shallow creek with instructors Scott Fisher and Sammy Norris as together you embark on a fun-filled and truly memorable experience. No experience necessary. Minimum age is 10.
