The Unicoi County Apple Festival is back in Erwin, Tennessee, on October 3rd and 4th. This beloved annual event is a celebration of all things apple and a perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Appalachian autumn.

Special Events and Activities 🎉
This year’s festival is packed with special events and entertainment for everyone:
- Apple Festival Tennis Tournament: A fundraiser for the Unicoi County High School tennis team, this tournament runs from Thursday, October 3, to Sunday, October 6.
- Apple Decorating Contest: Children aged 4-12 can show off their creativity by decorating an apple. Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1. A workshop will be held on Saturday, September 28, to help participants.
- 4-Mile Road Race & 3K Race Walk: Get active on Saturday, October 5, at this race starting at the Unicoi County Family YMCA. Pre-registration is available and all participants receive a souvenir T-shirt.
- Apple Festival Baking Contest: Held on October 5 at the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce, this contest features categories for Apple Pie, Apple Cake, and Youth Candy Apple.
- Blue Ridge Pottery Show & Sale: Vendors from across the country will be selling individual pieces and complete sets of Blue Ridge Pottery.
