If youโve been looking for a reason to slow down and enjoy late spring into early summer, this is it. Midfield Lavender Farm in Bulls Gap is back for the 2026 season, and itโs more beautiful and even more inviting than ever.
After a season of major growth, the farm has added new features, expanded its space, and created an experience for visitors. Whether itโs your first time visiting or youโve been before, this is the year to go.
Whatโs New This Year
Youโll notice the updates as soon as you arrive.
A new welcome pavilion, created from planks used for the original barn, now serves as a central check-in space and gathering area. Itโs a simple addition, but one that makes your visit feel more enjoyableโand gives you a place to step out of the sun or a quick rain shower.
The new entrance sign makes the farm feel instantly welcoming the moment you arrive.
Inside, the gift shop has grown, and thereโs even more to check out! Youโll find local artisan finds and, of course, their classic lavender goodies.

Ease Into the Season
New this year, you donโt have to wait for peak bloom to visit!
During May, the farm is offering a pre-season experience, where the greenhouse and gift shop are open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No tickets or reservations are needed, making it a great option if youโre looking for a quieter, more laid-back visit.
U-Pick Season is the Main Event
When the lavender is in full bloom, this place really comes to life.
Walking through the rows, cutting your own bundles, and taking in the viewsโitโs simple, but itโs one of those experiences people end up loving more than they expect.
2026 U-Pick Season:
- June 4 โ June 28
- TuesdayโSaturday: 9 a.m. โ 6 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. โ 5 p.m.
Youโll also find:
- Group visits available by reservation (call/text 423-292-9066)
- Evening photography sessions (6 p.m. – 9 p.m. call/text 423-967-1176 to reserve times)
More Than Just Lavender
Yes, the lavender is the highlight, but thereโs more to explore while youโre there.
The farm is home to over 1,300 lavender plants across nine varieties, along with a wildflower trail thatโs been thoughtfully improved this year. With sections refreshed throughout the season, itโs easier to walk, explore, and enjoy the blooms without navigating overgrown areas.
Itโs perfect for photos, families, or simply taking your time and enjoying the scenery.
Donโt Leave Without Stopping in the Shop
Before you head out, make time for the gift shop.
Jeannie and Brian create their lavender products right on the farm, including neck wraps, eye pillows, dried bundles, and sachets. Youโll also find local honey, lavender treats, and new items from regional makers added this season.
Itโs the kind of place where you go in for one thing and leave with a few favorites.
