Bays Mountain Park: Evening Meditation

September 26 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Bays Mountain Park has partnered with a local yoga instructor to offer an Evening Meditation class to the community this Saturday.
The 40-minute immersive breathwork and meditation program will take place in the planetarium theater on September 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. โ€“ the same day as the parkโ€™s Campfire Tales event.
The planetarium will simulate a dayโ€™s journey, from dawn to dusk, while participants discuss the evidence-based benefits of meditation and diaphragmatic breathing. This class is designed for those who wish to learn about and/or become better at meditation and will conclude with a starry night guided meditation.
The cost of the program is $10 per person. Feel free to bring water with a sealable lid. No mat is required. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start time. Late arrivals cannot be admitted.
To register, visit https://bit.ly/4y3eXoT. You can also click on the CivicRec link in the Connect Kingsport app or go to www.kingsporttn.gov and click on the โ€œCivicRecโ€ link, then search for โ€œmeditationโ€ in the search bar.
