One Ticket, Endless Discoveries

For just $25 per car pass (which covers everyone buckled up in your vehicle), you gain full access to an entire afternoon of farm life adventures. It is the perfect, budget-friendly getaway for families, foodies, and nature lovers alike.

Whether you want to pet adorable farm animals, learn sustainable gardening practices, or fill your cooler with local delicacies, there is a stop tailored just for you.

A Sneak Peek at the Farm Stops

The tour showcases the incredible diversity of Northeast Tennessee’s agricultural entrepreneurship. Here are just a few highlights of what you can experience across Washington and Greene counties:

  • Animal Encounters: Bring the kids to meet majestic Scottish Highland cows at Rocky Creek Highlands Farm, watch playful baby goats at Gnome Hollow, or fall in love with the friendly herd at Two Roots Alpacas (which is also hosting a mini farm festival featuring local lavender, dairy, and homestead products).

  • Fresh Berries & Blooms: Stroll through vibrant fields of cut flowers at the foot of Buffalo Mountain at Harvey Family Farm, or satisfy your sweet tooth by picking fresh fruit at Blueberry Hill and River Creek Farm.

  • Farm-to-Table Flavors: Cool down with freshly scooped ice cream at Faithful Fields or Horse Creek Farm & Little Lou’s Creamery Cafe. For the adults, enjoy a relaxing glass of wine and tour the museum at Knob Creek Vineyard.

  • Innovative Agriculture: Learn about intensive organic farming at A Different Chick & Orchard, see innovative cob house building techniques at The Cob House, and check out the newly opened Appalachian Producers Cooperative facility in Telford.

  • May be an image of strawberry, longan and shadbush

Wind Down at the After-Party

The fun doesn’t stop when the farm gates close at 5 p.m. Head straight to the historic Jackson Theatre in downtown Jonesborough for an open-house style after-party until 9 p.m.

While the after-party is included in your car pass (and open to anyone via donation to support the ARCD), it’s the perfect way to celebrate our region’s common ground.

  • 5-9 p.m.: Browse a silent auction packed with local farm products and services, and grab refreshments outside the theatre.

  • 5:30 p.m.: Settle into the theatre seats for a special regional film screening.

  • 6:30 p.m.: Enjoy a live poetry reading by celebrated East Tennessee native Danita Dodson, author of “Seed Song: Poems of Land, Soil, and Heritage in East Tennessee.”

  • 7:30 p.m.: Kick up your heels to the rollicking, old-time fiddle and banjo tunes of John Bills & The Academics—perfect for a little evening flatfooting and dancing.
