Book Signing and Discussion
The Jackson Theatre invites the public to a special event celebrating the rich history of local theaters on Saturday, July 12 at 3:00 p.m. in Downtown Jonesborough.
Award-winning journalist and author Robert Sorrell will host a Book Signing and Discussion alongside Anne G’Fellers-Mason, Program Manager at the McKinney Center. The discussion will explore the historic theaters of the Tri-Cities, offering stories, photos, and reflections from Sorrell’s book Historic Theaters of the Tennessee Tri-Cities.
The event will also include a screening of a 30-minute documentary on The Jackson Theatre, created by local filmmaker David Verde, followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book. Light refreshments will be served.
