Earth Day Volunteer Event
April 20, 2019 @ 12:00 am
Looking for a place to get involved and get your hands dirty? Join our Earth Day Volunteer Event! We will be working on the Moonshiner’s Run Trail, along the banks of the Doe River. Work will range from clearing trail to trash removal. The area is largely shaded and the temperature should be mild, but please dress appropriately (clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes or boots, work gloves, hat, sunscreen, etc…), and don’t forget snacks and water.
Meet at the cabin overflow parking area (the parking lot with recycle bins) near the Moonshiner’s Run Trailhead at 9:00 a.m. Participants must be at least 12 years of age and must have a current volunteer agreement on file. Forms may be filled out the morning of this event; please note that minors must have their forms signed by a parent/guardian.
