Interested in learning the art of building a fire? Develop your outdoor skills by joining Ranger Jason Davis for a
hands-on tutorial about basic fire-starting tips and techniques.  We will be using both colonial era flint and steel
as well as modern tools. Topics include how to make char cloth, good and bad natural fuel sources, fire building
strategies, and improvising with everyday items. Please dress appropriately for the weather.  Bring your own
gloves and water, all other supplies will be provided. Meet in the picnic area beside the Visitor Center. Subject
to cancellation due to significantly inclement weather.
Fellowship English Country Dancing
Sunday, November 7 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Beginners and seasoned dancers alike are all welcome! The afternoon will include the opportunity to learn
dances from different worldwide cultures. No cost to attend. Open to anyone, with or without experience or a
partner. Meet in the Visitor Center. Sponsored by Sabine Hill Social Society.
