Firefly 5K Run/Walk

Main Street Elizabethton invites you to participate in the fourth annual Firefly 5K Run/Walk on Friday, July 5 at 8 PM!

Run or walk throughout Downtown Elizabethton on the July First Friday’s Adventure Vibes to support downtown revitalization. The streets will be filled with Music, Shopping, Dining, and Fun! The race starts and finishes by running/walking through the Historic Covered Bridge.

Proceeds support Main Street Elizabethton in the organization’s transformational strategies to grow downtown into a vibrant shopping, dining, and entertainment district, as well as elevate the natural resources to become a family-friendly mountain recreation hub. Main Street Elizabethton’s mission is to look toward the future with the goal to preserve our culture and heritage while striving to revitalize the heart of our downtown. Early Bird Registration is open until June 8 (Adults: $30 | Youth: $20). Afterwards, registration will increase to $35 for adults and $25 for youth. T-Shirts and medals are guaranteed for the first 400 participants.

The Firefly 5K is a pet-friendly walk/run. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. Strollers and headphones are also permitted throughout the course. All are invited to participate!

The After Party will take place in Covered Bridge Park, courtesy of Appalachian Sun Brewery and Riverside Taphouse! Enjoy live music by Gents & Liars + a beer garden throughout the park. All race participants will receive a complimentary beer garden wristband (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available)!
