At one time Mississippi had 14 abortion clinics. Now only one remains. Anti-abortion efforts have succeeded in making the service virtually inaccessible in some places, especially in the Deep South. Jackson is an intimate, unprecedented look at the lives of three women caught up in the complex issues surrounding reproductive health care access. Set against the backdrop of the fight to close the last abortion clinic in Mississippi, Jackson focuses on the debate over reproductive healthcare in America. Film Education and Outreach Coordinator Abbie Perrault will hold a Q&A after the screening at ETSU. This event is free and open to the public.
