The Long Trip Home
The Jonesborough Story Initiative presents The Long Trip Home, a new community play based on the stories of Jonesborough community members past and present. Featuring dozens of characters from Jonesborough’s rich history up through modern day, this play with music is filled with heartwarming tales of the road that leads home, and the twists and turns it often takes before they make it. There are also hilarious, unbelievable-but true- adventures that will have audience members at the edge of their seats, as well as memorable scenes of strange antics at family and school reunions. Written by Jules Corriere, with music and lyrics by Heather and Brett McCluskey, the same creative team that wrote I Am Home.
