Map Reading & Compass – $75
Learn how to read a topo map and use a compass to successfully navigate in the wild. The first part of this comprehensive, hands-on class will be spent in a classroom setting reviewing the features of a map and compass before progressing to terrain association, navigational techniques and route selection. We cap off the day with a mild to moderate 2 mile hike where participants get to apply everything they’ve learned.
