Outdoor Life: Summer Camp

JC Parks & Recreation Summer Camp

Location: Meredith Pavilion, 203 Carroll Creek Rd., Winged Deer Park
Time: 9-4 pm
Ages: 7-12
Camp Fee: $80
Learn from the pros what it takes to be a forester, wildland firefighter, naturalist, geologist, paleontologist, wildlife officer and others. Our daily speakers will spend a bit of time telling their story and then launch into a top-notch nature program in their field. As we hike, we will try to look at the world through their occupations. Our two field trips will be to Legion Street Pool on Tuesday and Steele Creek Park on Thursday.
