Rocky Mount Harvest Festival

October 8, 2022 - October 9, 2022

The Rocky Mount State Historic Site will be celebrating their annual Fall Harvest Festival on October 8th and 9th.  Join us this weekend as we celebrate the fall season of 1791 at the original Capital of the Southwest Territory! If you’re looking for a fun-filled day to soak up the Fall season, then come join the Cobb family and their friends as they celebrate the harvest. Living history tours of the historic site and farm will take place all day. Demonstrations on site will include blacksmithing, fireplace cooking, apple butter making, apple cider pressing, and much more. Stop and smell the biscuits baking in the kitchen or give the apple butter a stir. There will also be toys and games including sack races, corn hole, and 18th century games that will be available for all ages. Crafts, including pumpkin painting, Halloween decoration painting, corn shuck dolls, and candle making will be offered for an additional fee. Bring a picnic to enjoy on our grounds or visit the food trucks that will be set up throughout the weekend.

Join us as we welcome the sounds of Chris Long and Jakob Jovet on Saturday. Sunday will feature The Dimestore Cowboys and The YeeHaw String Band.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $6 for children 5-17. Children under 5 and RMHA members are admitted free of charge. Buy your tickets at www.rockymountmuseum.com/harvestfestival
