DESCRIPTION: Come to Memorial Park Community Center on July 15 to experience GET YOUR PLAY ON Saturday in the Park! in celebration of Parks and Recreation Month. Kids and adults will play old-fashioned games, see performances, go on a hike, and watch an outdoor movie at dusk!
FREE fun for the whole family! Join us at Memorial Park Community Center, 510 Bert St., for an afternoon of games, contests, demos, performances and finishing the evening with an outdoor movie!
3-3:30 pm – Free Throw Contest (Gym)
3:30-4 pm – 3-Point Shooting Contest (Gym)
4:30 pm – Hot Shot Contest (Gym)
5:30 pm – Hike Jacob’s Park (bus will leave from MPCC)
6:00 pm – Water Balloon Toss, Watermelon eating contest
6:30 pm – Sack Race, Wheelbarrow Race, Egg Race
6:45 pm – Hoop Dancers
7:00 pm – Water Sponge Race
7:15 pm – Works For Me Demo
7:30 pm – Obstacle Course
7:45 pm – Dancer’s Dream Performance
Dusk – 10:30 p.m. – Outdoor Movie
Concessions available for purchase on site! Free popcorn during the movie! Old-fashioned games, cornhole, kickball, badminton, croquet and more!
