9:00 am: Fishing on the Watauga– Join Jared for a fishing lesson on the Watauga. Bring a fishing pole if desired. Meet in Front of the visitor center.

9:00 am: Birding/Nature Hike- Meet Jared at the bottom of the ramp behind the visitor center for an interactive nature hike that covers the trail and surrounding areas of Sycamore Shoals.
10:00 am: Lifestyles of Whites and Cherokees– Meet Stuart outside Fort Watauga and see how the Cherokees and white settlers survived in the frontier wilderness.

9:00am: River Stomp: Explore one of the healthiest rivers in Tennessee; enjoy a morning of hunting macroinvertebrates, and investigating the river. (You may get wet!) Meet Jared in front of the visitor center.
