Theatre: Breaking the Rock

Breaking the Rock tells the mostly true story of two affable brothers, JW and Clarence Anglin who will eventually pull off the Great Escape from Alcatraz. Starting from their humble sharecropper beginnings, we come to feel a fondness for these men who were really just out to make enough money to buy shoes. As they progress along the outlaw’s path, they meet Bumpy and Pete who have a higher interest in the outcome of the brother’s fate as the age-old story of good vs. evil plays out.
