Roan Mountain Spring Naturalists Rally
This will be the 67th year that naturalists and those that love nature have been gathering at Roan Mountain for the Roan Mountain Spring Naturalists Rally. This spring’s rally is set to be one of the finest with evening speakers, Ingrid Luffman and Lisa Benish, lunchtime activities, a lunchtime program by Cade Campbell, a lunchtime Tractor enthusiasts from across the South will make a trip to Northeast Tennessee for the 33rd Annual Appalachian Antique Farm Show April 23-26 at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tenn., hosted by the Tri-State Antique Power Association. In an event that has grown to showcase hundreds of rare and popular tractors over the years, including Exchange Place Spring Garden Fair Saturday, April 25, 10 am until 5 pm Sunday, April 26, noon until 5 pm Demonstrations of springtime activities on a mid-19 th century farmstead are interspersed with thousands of plants being offered for sale with an emphasis on natives, herbs, perennials, and heirloom plants, along with garden accessories and Exchange Place Living History Farm, located at 4812 Orebank Road in Kingsport, invites you to celebrate the blossoming of spring at its 40 th annual Spring Garden Fair on April 25 (10am-5pm) and 26 (12pm-5pm).
