1. Off Leash Social – Johnson City
A unique fusion of a dog park and social bar, Off Leash Social offers an all-outdoor venue where dogs can play freely while owners enjoy a drink. With amenities like The Kitchen serving a quality menu, and events ranging from trivia nights to live music, it’s a haven for both pets and their humans. No membership is required for humans, but dogs need to be registered.
2. Tweetsie Trail – Johnson City to Elizabethton
This 10-mile rails-to-trails path is ideal for leashed walks with your dog. Traversing through forests, creeks, and historical landmarks, the trail offers a scenic and educational experience for both pets and owners.
3. Stir Fry Cafe – Kingsport
Located in downtown Kingsport, Stir Fry Cafe is a popular restaurant known for its diverse menu blending Asian fusion, including extensive sushi and stir-fry options, with American classics. 4. Rock City Tap & Lounge – Greeneville
A local gathering spot known for its selection of regional beers and a unique atmosphere, Rocky City Tap & Lounge is housed in a former garage. From trivia nights, entertainment, and food trucks, they strive to be a pet-friendly establishment and welcoming to families. 5. Steele Creek Park – Bristol
