A unique feature to the Craft Bier Garden is to have actual Brewers on-site and available to speak with about their brewery and the unique qualities of their beer. The Craft Bier Garden brings many breweries to our region for the first time, and we are pleased to have them participate. Together you will be able to sample many rare and unique beers that you will not find anywhere else. With over 150 + unique , obscure and rare beers, you’ll have a chance to sample something amazing.
Oktoberfest would not be complete without music and dancing. This year will feature our main stage filled with entertainment throughout the day and into the night. There will be, of course, the all popular polka bands and traditional sounds of Bavaria in the air, but that’s just a start. There will be music and dancing free for everyone to enjoy, so bring a chair, spread out a blanket, it’s Oktoberfest!

Kingsport Oktoberfest is proud to bring you 5 wide screen TV’s, 120 feet of tables, plenty of chairs all under a 20×40 foot tent right beside the Craft Bier Garden. Come on out and enjoy a few pints and watch some college football.
Advanced Disposal is proud to present the 6th Annual Oktoberfest Cornhole Tournament open to 96 players (novice to expert). So, if you like to throw the corn bags around or you’re ultra competitive, this double elimination tournament is open for play and paying big money. 32 sets of boards with all the equipment provided to compete under Standard ACO Tournament Rules.
The crowd pleasing Wiener Dog ‘Brat Trot’ Race is expected to be another rousing success. Last year’s event SOLD OUT and this year event is expected to as well, so make sure to register early. This animal-friendly competition for all lovers of wiener dogs will be an exciting event for the entire family and community. Limited spots for dachshunds with a need for speed and a nose for the finish line!
Each dog will race approximately 50 feet in heats of five to their owners at the opposite end. The winner of each heat will compete in a final race to determine the winning wiener dog! Oktoberfest ‘Brat Trot’ Trophy will be awarded to the winner, and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Wiener Dog Brat Trot Race Start Time: 3:30PM Registration fee: $10 per dog/owner, includes German Fedora hat.
The Kingsport Oktoberfest is proud to be a festival where adults, families and children are welcome and can enjoy fun filled activities throughout the day. In Das Kid Zone families can listen to music and participate in totally free festivities in a designated no alcohol zone. There are many activities for the entire family. Music, inflatable bounce houses, face-painting, balloon animal twisting, German dance lessons, arts & craft projects, kids cornhole and ladder toss!
More than 25 of finest artisans and craftsmen from around the region including woodworkers, sculptors, jewelers, potters, painters, knitters and more, will showcase their work along Main Street surrounded by Bavarian Cuisine, Craft Bier Garden and plenty of family friendly entertainment.
The Oktoberfest Food Court features Bavarian cuisine, including Bratwurst, Knackwurst, German Potato Salad, Sauerkraut and Hot Pretzels. To help wash it down, an ample supply of authentic craft beverages will be flowing all day long. If Bavarian cuisine’s not your preference; hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, cotton candy, kettle corn, caramel apples, and other festive foods will be on hand for you to enjoy.
