Farm-to-Table Harvest Celebration Dinner

Farm-to-Table dinners have become quite popular of late as health conscious diners realize the benefits of eating fresher, local, and in-season foods. The Johnson County Farmers Market (JCFM) is making plans to develop an annual farm-to-table dinner held in September each year to celebrate our season of harvest, our wonderful customers, and our dedicated market vendors. We are calling it The Harvest Celebration Dinner.
The Farm-to-Table Harvest Celebration Dinner will take place on September 23 at 6pm at the Roan Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Mountain City, TN. We have a Mediterranean themed evening planned with live classical and folk music. Master Chef Craig Cox has planned an exceptional meal using all farm fresh ingredients. The four course meal will include a salad with fresh herb Italian salad dressing, Moroccan beef stew served with Spanish inspired saffron rice, classic French ratatouille served with French bread, and flourless butternut squash fudge brownies for dessert. For those with special diets or sensitivities, all courses are gluten free (gluten free bread offered) and there will be vegan options available.
If you have not purchased your tickets yet, but plan to attend, we are offering an early bird reduced price until September 9th. This all inclusive farm fresh meal with live music costs only $35. Seating is limited, so plan to get your tickets early. Should your organization, business or family want to purchase tickets for an entire table, we have tables of 6 and tables of 8 available. We are also now accepting items that anyone would like to donate for our Harvest Celebration Silent Auction which can be left at the Johnson County Welcome Center.
