Olympic Day

Every year, Olympic Day is celebrated by thousands of people, in more than 160 countries. Commemorating the birth of the modern Olympic Games, Olympic Day is not only a celebration, but an international effort to promote fitness and well-being in addition to Olympic ideals of Fair Play, Perseverance, Respect and Sportsmanship. This event is free to the public. There will be different sports to participate in and learn about for kids ages 5-12. Athletes from the ETSU weightlifting team will be there as well as other ETSU athletes and Olympic hopefuls. Opening ceremony is at 9:30 a.m. with the closing ceremony scheduled for noon.
