On July 3 and 4, 2026, Tennessee’s Oldest Town celebrates the 56th Annual Jonesborough Days Festival. For two days, downtown is filled with music, food, handmade goods, family activities, and fireworks. It is one of the most loved Independence Day traditions in Northeast Tennessee. This year’s America 250 theme adds even more meaning as the nation moves toward Twilight Alive – one of the most popular concert series in the region – will soon be jammin’ on the streets of downtown Kingsport this summer, offering fans a fantastic lineup of country, rock, bluegrass and more. As with previous years, this year’s concert series features eight weeks of free live music in the downtown Music on the Square is a free event open to the public. This season, will feature a diverse range of music including bluegrass, jazz, rock, americano and blues.
